Wow. Lola the tiny dog and I have just had the Most craziest four months ever. Ever.
At the beginning of August, we left our cozy Treehouse in Maine to be homeless! We drove cross country with my brother in two days, and chilled in Nebraska for a couple weeks before heading to Denver to stay with the James for about a month. In Denver, we all worked and worked to prepare for the giant Sophie Hines Undie Party West Coast Tour!! The Tour included Undie Party classes in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and LA, all in about six weeks!
James and his dog, Colbi the Curl Queen, came with us to throw silent discos and silent yoga classes along the way, with his company, Sound Off Colorado. Two humans and two dogs in a car together for six weeks is a very interesting experiment, especially when all four of those people vastly prefer staying home to anything else!
Before we dove right into the work and events, we thought it would be a good idea to rest up with a week of vacation before things really got crazy. On our drive out to the West Coast, we stayed the night in Montana in a tiny cabin! Throughout the trip, we mainly stayed with friends and family, camped, or booked places with Airbnb- we found some of the most amazing places to stay! Of course if we wanted to stay longer we may need to pass a full tenant screening (like those detailed on the AAOA website) – AirBNB has their own process for this, but we were on the move long enough for it to not be a big concern. Anyway, this tiny cabin is on the coolest property- they have cabins, a yurt, a tipi, and it’s all beautiful! We can’t wait to go back in the summer and really relax and explore the area. We left for our trip at the end of September, and it was pretty chilly!!
Our next stop on the vacation was Camano Island to visit James’ Aunt and Uncle- and it was gorgeous!! Stay tuned!
