The second stop on our pre-tour vacation was Camano Island!! We stayed right on the water with James’ Aunt and Uncle, and it was just crazy beautiful! The dogs loved scouting the shore for smelly things, and James and I found something really lovely- somebody’s beach playhouse!
There were all kinds of shells, found objects, sea glass, and rocks with messages on them from everyone who’s visited the beach over the summer! It was so magical.
We left two pretty rocks with all the places we’d traveled together, as well as all the destinations of our tour!! For having its water on the wrong side, it was very beautiful!! Although I can’t help but hold the whole not-East-Coast situation against it just a little.
Personally, my favourite part of the Island were the little shops and the trinkets! Most obviously the chocolate shop.
